We now offer online giving! If you want to be a part of the Kingdom work God is doing at La Monte Christian Church, financial gifts are a great way to pitch in! Every cent we receive in offering goes to continuing God's ministry here in La Monte, MO and supporting His ministry across the globe.

WHY GIVE?
We give because Jesus is a giver.
At La Monte CC, we don't care how much, how often, or where you give. We only care that you are the kind of person who gives, because giving is a way we can look more like Jesus! Christ gave up his heavenly throne to be born a man (Phil. 2:5-8). God gave his one & only Son to die for our sins (Jn. 3:16). Jesus gave up his spirit, dying on the cross (Jn. 10:17; Jn. 19:29). God gave us the Holy Spirit & all the gifts of the Spirit (Jn. 14:16-17; 1 Cor. 12:7). Every good thing we enjoy is a gift from a Father who loves to give (Jam. 1:17; Matt. 5:45). Jesus also told us that loving money can often get in the way of our faith (Matt 6:24). If we claim to be his followers, let us also follow his pattern of generosity.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY GIFTS?
Every cent we receive goes to serve the Kingdom
Each month, portions of the gifts we receive go to strengthening different arms of God's ministry here at La Monte CC. We publish regular financial reports that show how your gifts are spent. Some goes to utilities & the maintenance of our facility; some goes to compensating the preaching minister; some goes into a savings account and may be used for benevolence and meeting other needs that may arise. Finally, some goes to supporting other ministries & missions locally and across the globe. To see a full list of these ministries, click here.
